Lake Anne Jazz Week Returns & Celebrates Ten Years of Jazz Beats…Week Long Activities To Conclude with 10th Annual Lake Anne Jazz & Blues Festival….
Lake Anne Plaza has announced the return of the Lake Anne Jazz Week and the artist line up for their annual Jazz & Blues Festival, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The Lake Anne Jazz Week will take place starting Friday, August 26 and will conclude on Saturday, September 3rd (Labor Day Weekend) with the 10th Annual Jazz & Blues Festival.
Chesapeake Chocolates…Wine, Gifts and More will host Virginia Wine tastings on Thursday, Sept 1, from 6-7.30 pm and Saturday, Sept 3, from 2-4 pm; Thursday will also feature live music and local artisan cheeses and Saturday’s tasting will include some of your favorite chocolates!
The week will also feature a variety of jazz themed events that will take place from live music, merchant activities, to a free feature film classic (Jazz on a Summer’s Day) on August 26, part of Lake Anne’s ongoing Summer Film Festival series and kicking off Jazz Week activities. The Jazz & Blues festival is a free, family friendly, all-day event that will take place from 1:00 PM-9:00 PM and will showcase a variety of talented regional and national jazz & blues artists.
